Hofstra University and the National Center for Suburban Studies Provide Scholarships for Masters in Sustainability

Hofstra University and the National Center for Suburban Studies are providing nearly $20,000 in scholarships for students seeking to earn a Masters in Sustainability from Hofstra University starting in the Fall of 2016. If you are interested in applying, please see here and here more information about the masters program.

Along with Department faculty, graduate students can work with over 2 dozen potential mentors across campus who specialize in a number of different science and policy issues associated with sustainability.

There are two options for masters students: thesis or internship options. Thesis options are for those students who are interested in research or in moving forward with a Ph.D. in the future. The internship option is for students seeking greater professional advancement and who can take on a project in partnership with their employer, a non-profit or for profit organization, a community organization, or a government agency.
