New Issue of the Journal of Cave and Karst Studies

Me at Skocjanske Jame in Slovenia a few years ago.
As many of my readers know, I am one of the earth sciences editors of the Journal of Cave and Karst Studies, which is the journal of the National Speleological Society.  The new issue recently came out and I think some of you would enjoy reading it.  You can take a look at some of the articles here.

This issue has seven articles, five of which are on cave and karst systems in other countries (Slovenia, Italy, and Brazil).  Of the two articles on U.S. karst, one focuses on microbiological impacts of human urine in Lechuguilla Cave in New Mexico, and the other reviews methods for determining cover-collapse sinkhole formation in Kentucky.  Happy reading!
